I am getting back into writing after a long hiatus. I had two romance novels published last year and after, seemed to just "give up" (two of the dirtiest words in the english laguage) and never pursued my dream of being published by Harlequin's Silhouette Nocturne line.
Well, I've finally realized that I'm never going to achieve it if I keep giving up on it, so I started another blog, A Written Circumstance, in the hopes that if I have a blog to post to and keep me in the "mood" for writing, I might actually accomplish sticking to it. I'm still working on it, setting up the sidebars and putting info up, but I love how it turned out! It will be one of the blogs I put in my design portfolio......now it's just a matter of giving myself that swift kick and getting things done!!!
I've got at least four loads of laundry waiting (and stinking, lol) and my son's room is in desperate need of getting rid of miscellaneous toys and other junk that has accumulated. Let's not even go to the subject of my studio, I've avoided it for three days just so I don't have to look at it. Being lazy with housework does have it's advantages, though......I've been able to enjoy the Spring-like weather with the kids and take them to the park and play ball, so all and all, I'm doing good!

Missy Sue, I am blown away! I have always wanted to be a published author, and romance is my favorite to read! You are one very very talented lady! Good luck pursuing your dream and I am definitely going to keep tabs on your new blog! It sounds great!
Marisa
I'm adding this one to my journals blog -- I love to do a bit of writing myself and it helps to have a place to go and do that!!
Good for you to keep on keepin' on! It's tough - I've gone through a dry spell myself lately but I'm finally getting back to it.
Your blog looks lovely. :)
Cool photo enhancements and I LOVE your blog girl! I finally answered your tag, yay :) Thank you for choosing me, how fun!
hugs!
Amy :)
OK - I am sighing in relief that I'm not the only one drawn to so many forms of art. I cannot get enough of digital...if I could change things daily I would because I love setting the tone so people know what my mood is :~) I've written a book as well and I truly enjoyed the entire process. Although by time it came to finally submit for the final print I was exhausted! Kudos to you for having 2 published an for going back to writing!
For me, I have this insatiable desire to create and all these avenues provide such release - and if they make someone else happy - so much the better! Enjoy exploring them all Missy!!! They all suit you :~)
